My Morning Jacket at Newport Folk Fest

Early Saturday evening, despite impending thunderstorms, headliners My Morning Jacket took the stage at the 2012 Newport Folk Festival. Much like their performance at Forecastle, there was no shortage of special guests. Alabama Shakes singer Brittany Howard sang vocals on The Band’s It Makes No Difference, and Monsters of Folk collaborator Conor Oberst appeared with Ben Sollee for Smokin From Shootin’. Sollee and Laura Veirs also sat in for Wonderful (The Way I Feel). See the full set list below.
