Ben Sollee Releases Single from Upcoming Album

Just 5 days ago I had the chance to check out Kentucky-born cellist and songwriter Ben Sollee at the tenth annual Forecastle Festival. Ben’s presence at the festival was widespread, from sitting in with bands throughout the weekend to hosting a slue of musicians on-stage during his Sunday evening performance, including Abigail Washburn, Carl Broemel and Jim James. Sollee even found time to speak to festival-goers about environmental awareness and his upcoming bike tour, at the Sustainable Living Roadshow, an arts and education collective that promotes strategies for sustainable living.

This week Paste Magazine is offering a first listen of “Unfinished” from his upcoming album Half-Made Man, due for release on September 25 from his own record label, Tin Ear Records. Head over to Paste Magazine to stream the new release.
