Bonnaroo in Pictures: The Artists (Part 1)

The Which Stage at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival

I’ve had almost a week to decompress (and cool off) from this year’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. The problem for media at this year’s festival was not that there was a shortage of work — quite the contrary. The problem for many was that bandwidth in the media tent was at a premium. If you were lucky enough to actually get connected on one of the wi-fi networks made available for members of the press, the connection was fleeting at best. And uploading images was pretty much out of the question.

But problems with uploading photos in the media tent sure didn’t stop our intrepid photographer, Richard Allen, from busting his butt in the Tennessee heat to get some fantastic shots. [Note: this is the first of several photo galleries from Bonnaroo that we will be testing on a variety of platforms. Any feedback is appreciated! - Ed.]
